- convent side: ~15 rooms, $1,500–2,000/mo, ~$1,750 avg ≈ ~$26K/mo at full occupancy.
- house agent incumbent: salem already holds building knowledge (trash pickup, checklists, systems). whatever comes next should carry that knowledge forward, not start over.
02what the school is
- a residence that runs classes. residents teach. residents attend.
- class categories: craft (music, drawing, fermentation), technical (agent engineering, code), embodied (movement, breath, voice).
- one auditorium event per week, open to the public. classes feed the event. the event feeds recruitment.

07governance engine: chore wheel
- kronovet's system, evaluated jul 31. open source: github.com/zaratanDotWorld/choreWheel. docs: docs.chorewheel.zaratan.world. patent pending. free to use; paid advisory available.
- three slack apps: Chores (continuous-auction task distribution, no fixed schedules), Hearts (long-term accountability + conflict resolution), Things (shared funds / purchasing).
- proven at sage house: 9 bedrooms, LA, runs manager-free on this stack.
- adoption path: install Chores + Hearts first (their own recommendation), Things later if shared funds need it. ~20 min setup, needs a slack workspace, works on free slack.
- open question: convent runs on discord/telegram culture, not slack. options: (a) a slack just for house ops, (b) fork the repo to discord, (c) convent agent (eliza) integrates with its API. start with (a), it's zero engineering.
